The Thief placed Motthew's severed eye in a red pouch, which he then handed to a three eyed bird.  The bird carried the pouch quickly through the cafeteria doors, and the Thief turned to follow.

"Where the hell do you think you're going?!"  Reaper snarled.

"Well, I thought I'd go and have some tea, why do you want to join me?"  The Thief asked with a snide grin on his face.

"You know what I meant, you've still got Jessy on your back!"  Reaper growled furiously at the Thief's innocent act.

"So, I'm just leaving with what is mine."  The Thief looked puzzled, "Oh, did you think you would get to keep her?"

"She's my daughter, not a trinket or a toy for your amusement!"  Reaper yelled as he began to charge at the Thief.

"Always so hasty," the Thief said as a jet black raven flew from the shadows and struck Reaper on the base of his tail.  Reaper stopped in his tracks, as his hind legs hit the floor, try as he might he could no longer move them.

"Damn you!" Reaper roared as he flung two white wisps at the Thief.

The Thief sighed, "and stubborn too."  The Thief's eyes glowed white as he said, "Well I guess I should take those back as well."  Each wisp went directly into the Thief's eyes and seemed to disappear.  "Thank you for returning Tattle and Vacant's souls to me, you are so very generous today."

Reaper crawled towards the thief, his hind legs and tail dragging limply behind him, "I won't let you take her again," he snarled.

"Oh Reaper, you haven't got a choice, I'll see you at the start of round 3, toodles."  The Thief said as he disappeared out the cafeteria door taking Jessy with him.

Tears began to stream down Reapers face, "Damn it, I couldn't stop him, damn it, damn it..."  Reaper kept whispering to himself, when Motthew placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Look, for what its worth I'm sorry about your daughter.  It kind of makes me feel like a jerk, you see all he stole from me was shotgun.  If there's anything I can do just-"  Motthew said as he was interrupted by Reaper.

"Stop, you don't have to console me, and I'm sorry to, for your eye.  I never wanted to hurt anyone."  Reaper said with his head hanging down, he couldn't bare to look at what he'd done to Motthew.

"I kind of had it coming, I mean I asked you to forfeit and never gave you the chance to explain your situation.  I would have done the same thing if my daughter was on the line."  Motthew smiled, "Maybe we should go to the clinic, my arm and eye need tending, and you should clean your tail as well."

"Right, just give me a moment for me to regain the feeling in my legs."  Reaper smiled back at Motthew.

I got to say I respect those two. It is kind of hard to get along with a former enemy after having such a violent fight. It does break my heart that the Thief separated Reaper from his daughter again.
