Her Thinking Place

Ayame loves to sit by this little pond behind her vineyard, bask in the sun and think, today Kestrel just so happens to join her today. When she thinks, she tends to play with her hair, so that's why her fingers are in her hair.

now for Aya's bg:
She's had a fairly sheltered life, when she was but a baby her parents (who chose to stay in wolf form and live in the woods) were killed by a farmer who thought they were real wolves, and he was protecting his livestock. The next morning he went out to retreive their pelts, and found her crying wraped in a cloth still clentched in her mother's jaws.

He mourned over what he'd done, gave her parents a proper burial, and raised her as his own. He gave her everything she ever wanted, and even left her his vineyard after his death, she being his only child. and so she to this day protects her father's land, and still makes and sells the wine that made her father a wealthy man. Since childhood, she always had an interest in the fighting arts, and her father found her an excellent archery and blade teacher, so she became an adept fighter as well as alchemist.

She wears a bandage over her eyes because when she was performing an alchemy experiment many years ago, she made an error and the vapors from the potion turned her eyes a demonic red, and made them very sensitive to light. Without the bandage she would be blinded by the sun.
